#enaevents is proud and happy to announce the organisation of the 35th Amphictyony of Voluntary Blood Donors in Xanthi.

The event is delivered by #enaevents, the service of ena Development Consultants that designs and runs information, educational and scientific events and conferences, in person, hybrid and with remote participation.

The 35th Amphictyony of Voluntary Blood Donors will take place from 16 to 19 October 2025 in Xanthi, with parallel events in the prefectures of Rhodope and Kavala, as part of the celebrations for the 50 years of the Voluntary Blood Donors Association of Xanthi “I Agapi”.

This year’s programme includes:

  • the 23rd Torch Relay of Love, which will cross towns and villages of Thrace and Macedonia carrying the message of voluntary giving,
  • the conference sessions at the Xanthi Municipal Amphitheatre, with presentations and discussions on voluntary blood donation and its new prospects,
  • the Blood Donor Celebration 2025 and the awards for voluntary blood donors,
  • parallel awareness activities and voluntary blood donation, with pupils and associations taking part through creative events and drawings on the theme of blood donation,
  • tours of the town and prefecture of Xanthi for delegates and their companions.

The Amphictyony is the flagship institution of the Panhellenic Federation of Voluntary Blood Donors (P.O.S.E.A.), which since 1986 has brought together associations and organisations across Greece. Its aim is to increase voluntarily donated blood, grow the number of bone marrow donors and spread the idea of organ donation, promoting a spirit of solidarity and humanity.
