The Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace – Directorate of Transport and Communications, Regional Unit of Xanthi, as part of European Mobility Week 2025, is organising a special walk through the Old Town of Xanthi on Wednesday 17 September 2025 at 18:00.
The walk starts from the main entrance of the Regional Unit of Xanthi, and the historical researcher Georgios F. Batzakidis will guide the route, presenting the rich history and cultural heritage of the town through its landmarks.

The walk is open to everyone and aims to show the value of walking as a core part of sustainable mobility, combining knowledge, enjoyment and contact with the cultural identity of Xanthi.
